The following images are art pieces that I made throughout the years I have been experimenting with 3D modeling. Feel free to browse, but note that a lot of these are experimental pieces. I hope you enjoy!
01
Nightly Patrol
I was learning how to make surreal architecture/liminal spaces at the time of making this piece. But, during the creation process, I learned of a artist that captured my interest named Suguru Tanaka. So, I eventually made it into a piece inspired by his works.
02
Spires
This is an earlier experimental piece that I made when I was a month or two into learning Blender. At the time, I was experimenting with grouping objects and working with opacity. Eventually, I ended up with these glass spire looking things.
03
Alien Landscape
This is a recent experimental piece that I made to test out displacement mapping and micro subdivisions so that smaller details can be much more noticeable, like more edges on the mountains and more muscle on the organic mass in the middle.
04
Chunks
This was a piece that I worked on for a art contest that was being held by a group of my friends. They were holding it for the release of a video game, that they made for the Steam platform, called Dead Estate.
05
Cross Hatching Test
This piece was a test for making procedural cross hatching patterns. Depending on what nodes I set up for each layer, it yielded different results.
06
Paths
I made this surreal piece based off of the concept of paths people take in life. But, I decided to make it in the literal sense as well as adding more paths instead of one. The reason the people's heads appear foggy or faded is because they are unsure if the path they take is the correct one.
07
Ancient Sands
This piece is a landscape experiment mixing elements of reality and the abstract. The crystals are a group of stretched out spheres that each have a decreased amount of polygons, giving them that crystalline look.
08
Remina
This piece was made for the Japanese comic titled "Hellstar Remina". It's about a gargantuan living planet that moves through the solar system devouring the planets, eventually arriving to Earth and consuming the planet along with everyone inhabiting it.
09
Someone's late to the party
This piece is about the internet urban legend "The Backrooms". This found footage styled piece depicts a never ending series of hallways and rooms as well as a cheerful yet creepy inhabitant called the partygoer.
10
Supernova
This recent piece is an experiment for creating simulated or procedural nebula clouds. In the center of the piece is a planet caught in the middle of a star's supernova.
